There are both single trunk and suckering forms of this species. Nowadays, most of the plants available of this species are the suckering form. Both get to a height of 25 feet, have an attractive green trunk and a light colored crown shaft. Leaves have a graceful arch and the leaflet color is green. It’s a great alternative for the garden. Note how the trunks are rather thin. The two plants shown here are going to be the suckering variety. Along our coast it will take full sun but I’d recommend filtered or morning light inland. The plants on special are in 5g size, are not super large as of yet and are on sale. We may have both larger and smaller size.
