Neorogelia are one of our favorite types of Bromeliads. This is because you get color without the need for waiting to see a blossom. Typically, the mother plant lasts for about a year and then dies off. But, you then get several small pups forming from the base of the plant and the cycle repeats itself. So, over time, you’ll have a large cluster of many plants. Most Neorogelia like shade although some will take some sun. This species has a pink flush on top of variegated white leaves. We have many attractive Neorogelia for sale. In the last row of photos below I’ll show a few other types and also some garden pictures of bromeliads in the 3rd & 4th photos.
