This is one of my favorite Sabal species. It’s native to various Caribbean Islands including Puerto Rico and Cuba. It can get to height of at least 35 feet and has a trunk that is smooth and a light tan to gray color. Trunks are thick, up to about 30 inches. Leaf color is blue-green. Growth rate is good and it likes sun. Cold tolerance is into the mid-teens F. The 15g size shown below are nice. We’re putting this size on sale. I’m showing some mature plants below as well.
