This is an unusual type of King Palm that has a purple colored crown shaft when it gets bigger. You won’t see this on smaller plants as shown here, but once the tree has a little trunk it appears. It is single trunk, crown shafted, has green leaves with silver underside, and gets to a mature height of 30 to 35 feet in CA. Along the coast takes full sun, part sun far inland. Cold tolerant to about 25 – 27 degrees F. We have limited numbers in the 15g & 5g sizes.
