This is a popular variety of banana that does produce edible bananas and gets to heights of 8 to 10 feet. It does sucker. It wants full sun and tolerates temperatures below 32 degrees F. (although frosts can burn the leaves, most plants come back). Leaves are green and trunks are six to 10 inches thick. Growth rate is good. The fruit it’ll produce is excellent. Plants on sale are large for their containers.
