Native to hot areas of Madagascar, this is an intensely blue, medium to large tropical fan palm with large blue leaves. It wants full sun and loves heat. Cold tolerance to about 20 degrees F. Well grown, it is a “show stopper”. Grown in shade, it may not hold its blue color. In the right areas, expect an eventual height of 30 feet or more. We’re offering three sizes on sale, all great for garden planting right now. I’ve shown as well a grove of good sized specimens below. All three sizes are shown below from 5g up to 25g.
