This cycad is quite similar to Ceratozamia latifolia but doesn’t quite key out exactly. For this reason we’re calling it a “like” cycad. It has long slightly reflexed leaves with wide green leaflets. It has green leaves and a main caudex and three good sized offsets. It is a known female and has cones in the past. The primary caudex is almost 8 inches in size and the pups are 3.5, 4.5 and 4.5 inches. It’s an understory cycads with excellent cold tolerance into the low 20’s F.
