Lately there’s been a shortage of this rare Madagascar palm. It is a suckering species with thin trunks of about three to five inch diameters (mature). Leaves are green and are typically flat. Crown shaft color can be red, yellow or whitish. We recommend part day sun or filtered light for best results. Cold tolerance is into the mid, possibly low 20’s F.
