Very little is known about this palm. It’s even unclear as to whether it’s a true species or some kind of Dypsis hybrid. It is a thin trunked, suckering species that enthusiasts are growing and discussing. Many are having success with it. The trunks are about 2 inches thick, the crown shafts have dark speckles and a silver color and the trunks are prominently ringed. Consensus is to grow it in filtered light and let it work its way into the sun. This is one of the rare times that we’ve offered them for sale. They are extremely rare.
