This low profile companion fern can take part day sun or filtered light. It isn’t very tall, perhaps up to 14 inches. It slow expands over the ground. The leaves are simple without divisions. The name “Tongue Fern” refers to its resemblance to the tongue of a type of deer. This type of fern is native to European counties and the U.S. It is simple to grow and cold tolerant into the low 20’s F. These plants on special are very large for their pots. They are about 18 inches wide.
