This is a suckering palm that has gets a height of about fifteen feet, has trunks about 3 to 4 inches in diameter and green leaves. Each stalk looks like a miniature Kentia Palm. It’s native to Australia and can be grown in part or full coastal sun. New leaves are often a light red. Cold hardiness is mid to low 20’s F. Note that there are other varieties of this species not on sale presently. This variety also seems to have the best cold hardiness (as it comes from higher elevation) of the various types.
