Like the L. hopei above, this Australian cycad makes a very large specimen and needs room to grow. It has thinner leaflets than the hopei. Caudex height on this species can get up to ten feet or more. Leaflets are a deep green if not in full sun. Leaves are totally without spines and about 8 feet long. Culturally, it likes part day sun, strong filtered light or, right on the coast, full sun. Cold hardiness is probably into the upper teens F.
