These young plants were from seeds of a fruiting Phoenix rupicola. However, there was no male rupicola in the area. So, we know it’s a hybrid. But, we don’t know what it’s crossed with. It could end up being a single trunk or suckering palm. But, it should show vigor and an interesting and different appearance. Anticipate it’ll want sun and be fairly cold hardy.
