This medium sized Phoenix is single trunked and native to India. It gets to a height of about 25 feet with green leaves. Leaf stems, like all Date Palms, are armed with needle-like spines. Leaves have a soft appearance compared to other large Phoenix like the Canary Island Palm or Senegal Date Palm. Leaves are green and gently arch. It is fairly difficult to find. It wants full sun and is cold hardy down to the low 20’s F.
