This species is native to Hawaii, and is commonly considered one of the prettiest types we can grow. Of the many Pritchardia that we grow, this is one of the smaller species. Trunks are usually under 8 inches thick, leaves are not large and mature height is almost always under 20 feet. For its stature it has large leaves, which are flat and often covered with a fine, white tomentum on the underside. It takes full sun along the coast.
