This species is quite similar in appearance to Ptychosperma elegans above but has wider green leaflets. The trunk is thin, leaves are arching and mature height is 25 to 30 feet. We’d recommend starting in strong filtered light and let it grow into the sun. Cold tolerance is down to about a freeze. It is rare to find this species for sale. The garden specimen is by Pete from Australia c/o Palmpedia.
