This popular and colorful Banana gets to a mature height of 12 to 18 feet, likes full sun and is cold hardy down to about a freeze. It is quick growing and an ornamental Banana not a fruit producing variety. The nicest thing about this plant is its appearance. It really shows the red. But, it doesn’t live forever and will die in when it blossoms. This is usually in about four, perhaps five years. Second photo below is by containercrazy CT website
