This is a remarkable plant because it is very cold hardy and has brilliant blue leaves in sun. It is native to Mexico and develops a thin trunk and rarely gets over six to eight feet tall in decades. It wants full sun. Cold hardiness is probably about ten degrees F. We have a customer in the New York city area who has some unprotected outdoors – and they’ve wintered over for years without protection. The garden photo is by unknown author c/o Wikipedia.
