This popular cycad is not super rare but very popular. It is native to Mexico and parts of Central America. Plants usually don’t get over four to five feet tall, have essentially un-armed leaflets and are green in color. Right along the coast they take full sun. Inland areas should allow part day sun or filtered light. Cold hardiness is into the mid to low 20’s F.
