This single trunk palm species is native to the Northern Territory and Queensland in Australia. It has a rather thin trunk that typically is six to eight inches thick. Leaves are about six feet long. The crown shaft is silver green in color and the leaves are green. Mature height is about 25 feet on average. It tolerates temperatures into the 20’s F. I’ve been growing one in my garden for about 40 years. It’s still gorgeous. Some plant them as small colonies, two or three together. We’re putting our 2g size on special. It’s been a while since we’ve offered this species or size.
