THE TRAVELER PALM RAVENALA MADAGASCARENSIS BANANA APPEARING TREE IN ONE PLANE

For about a year folks have called us to obtain smaller sized Traveler Palms. But, we didn’t have any. In fact, the industry is totally sold out of this species. We can now announce that we have available a small number of fairly nice 5 gallon plants. They are about 3 to 4 feet tall in their pots. We have about ten for sale. This is a quick growing plant and these should do well for most of you that don’t freeze. These are fast growing. They like sun in most areas but do not take a freeze – which will melt them overnight. Also be aware that they do sucker. We recommend removing the suckers as they look better as a single trunk plant. Remember, this species puts out banana type leaves in one plane. We’re putting our 5 gallon on sale but only have a handful available in this size – and they’ll sell out quickly. There are just too many people seeking this interesting plant.
