Several years I offered a good assortment of rare Vriesea hybrids done by the late John Arden.  John was a worldwide famous Bromeliad expert who lived in this area. His hybrid Bromeliads, especially the Vriesea hybrids, were coveted by many.  Of this collection, we still have some left.  Through a friend, I am again able to offer some of his hybrids and, this time, at a discount.  Vrieseas are known not only for their interesting foliage but also for colorful  blossoms that protrude welll above the plant.  These would be fairly easy to email anywhere in the U.S.  Most Vrieseas want filtered light and are cold hardy into the mid to upper twenties F.
