SOLID ENTIRE LEAVES – THIN TRUNKS AND SHORT STATURE
VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND
We have a very limited number of this super rare understory palm. They are in 2 gallon pots, grown from seed and presently showing three to four leaves with a bit of stem. This size is shown in the first six photos below. These could be mail ordered, weather permitting.

Cold Hardiness: | 25 to 28 degrees F. |
Trunk type: | Thin, single trunk; miniature species usually under three feet tall |
Leaf type: | Simple, bifid type |
Suckering/Solitary: | Solitary, (single trunk). |
Maintenance: | Easy, likes shade |
Speed of growth: | Medium to slow, remembering that it never gets tall |
Height: | Two to three feet |
Soil requirements: | Good drainage and ample water |
Sun Requirements: | Shade or light filtered |
General Description: | A gorgeous very small palm that looks good in clumps of multiple plants. A nice “filler plant” for that special shady area. |
Other Notes: | Makes nice houseplant. Similar to C. ernesti-augusti but with more narrow leaves. Recommended: Chamaedorea Palms, The Species |
