This is a fairly recently described single trunk pinnate palm is from southern Mexico. There it lives among rugged outcroppings in mountainous areas. Little is known about its domestic culture. It gets to heights of over 30 feet with an 8 to 10 inch thick trunk. It has a clean trunk and no crown shaft. Leaves are green and fairly straight. The mature photos below were taken in Miami, Florida where it seems to be doing fine. I would anticipate that it wont’ take temperatures much below a freeze. This is the first time I’ve offered it for sale. The bands on sale are huge for their pots and need repotting. Best would be into a 5 gallon pot. They are over three feet tall in their pots.
