EASY COLOR FOR THE GARDEN
OR NICE INTERIOR PLANT
Neorogelia are one of our favorite types of Bromeliads. This is because you get color without the need for waiting to see a blossom. Typically, the mother plant lasts for about a year and then dies off. But, you then get several small pups forming from the base of the plant and the cycle repeats itself. So, over time, you’ll have a large cluster of many plants. Most Neorogelia like shade although some will take some sun. This species has a pink flush on top of variegated white leaves. We have many attractive Neorogelia for sale. In the last row of photos below I’ll show a few other types and also some garden pictures of bromeliads in the 3rd & 4th rows.
