MEDIUM TO LARGE GREEN CYCAD – THINNER LEAFLETS
Please read above where I introduced this South African species and commented that there were various “forms” native to different localities. This variety is from a habitat in Transki. Little is published about these plants or presented on the Internet. From what I see, this variety has green leaflets that are thinner than other varieties and have less spines on the leaflets. I anticipate mature size will be similar to the regular E. natalensis above. The plant on special is in a 15g pot and has a caudex of about 6 inches. Culture and cold hardiness should be comparable. We have several available. Sorry, I do not have nor can I find good photos of a mature specimen. We only have one or two left.
