REEDSTEM TYPE TERRESTRIAL ORCHID
HARD TO FIND PINK-PURPLE COLOR
The family of Epidendron Orchids are loaded with species/varieties of lots of different colors. These include pink, purple, orange, red, white and yellow. But, one of the most vibrant is the pink-purple as shown here. It is also an easy variety to grow. This is the color I’m showing here. We’re putting blossoming one gallon purple-pink on sale. These plants will have tons of reed-like stems, most of which will blossom this summer. Leaves are thick and small and plants can be divided in the future to easily add to other areas of the garden. They’ll take coastal full sun or strong filtered light. Some sun is needed for flowering. You can plant these right in the soil. They are cold tolerant into the mid-twenties F. BTW, this color is difficult to find. You’ll love them in your garden or in a pot. If we run out of this color, we’ve got lots of other great colored blossoms in the same size/price.
