ALSO – MAKES A GREAT BASKET FERN
This popular fern is known for its furry rhizomes which make new plants and can form near sphere of leaves when grown in a basket. Or, you can grow it in the garden where it’ll crawl the garden floor. It is native to Fiji. Leaves come off the rhizomes and are about 12 to 16 inches long. Their color is green. They are easy to propagate by cutting and rooting one of the rhizomes with a few leaves. They prefer filtered light and are cold hardy into the twenties F. Many people grow this fern indoors. We’re offering full 5 gallons on special. The 7th & 8th photos show this fern being grown in a basket – where it does quite well..
