GROWN IN FULL COASTAL SUN – MASSIVE 5 GALLON CLUMP
FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS AN IMMEDIATE “SHOW”
This suckering Aechmea species has been growing in our full sun. It has been growing outdoors for years and receives good sun. It’s in a 5 gallon pot and is a massive clumpt of at least ten different plants. The blossoms are large as shown with colors of yellow and orange. Leaves are green, mildly armed. If you like such large specimen Bromeliads, we have an assortment of older plants with multliple heads and blossoms. They are landscape ready. The garden photos in the third row of photos below show how you can used Bromeliads in the garden. Remember to water all Bromeliads from above with a hose (or any overhead spraying device) as this type of plant cannot absorbe water or nutrition from its roots.
