SHOULD TOLERATE COASTAL SUN WITH MEDIUM MAATURE HEIGHT
This pure species is a suckering palm from Madagascar but can also be found as a single trunk specimen. The crown shaft is often white or silver. The plants on sale here are a hybrid of the Dypsis onilahensis. Unfortunately, we do know know what it’s hybridized with. So, it’ll be a surprise if you figure it out. It may have either flat or droopy leaves/leaflets and white to silver crown shafts. Overall height should be about twenty feet as a guess. We can’t be sure as it’s a hybrid. It should like coastal part day sun, perhaps more, and should be cold tolerant to the mid-twenties F. The plants on sale are the 5g size with an age of about 5 years from seed.
