MEDIUM SIZED MATURE – GREEN LEAVES
There are two types of Schefflera. On is a larger tree with larger leaves. The other type is a dwarf with small leaves and leaflets. The plant shown here is an “in-betweeners”. It’s 8 to 10 feet tall n the pot and quite wide – 6 to 8 feet. It’s an ideal tree for privacy and can be shaped and trimmed liberally. I’d anticipate a mature height of about 15 feet. It takes full sun and is cold hardy well into the mid to lower 20’s F. We only have a few available. The first two garden photos show the larger species Schefflera actinophylla. The last photo is c/o Clemson University website.
