INTERESTING AND DIFFERENT DWARF FERN
This dwarf evergreen fern is native to Japan and Taiwan. Surprisingly, it has a great deal of cold hardiness. It has been reported that it will grow in areas as cold as Zone 5! For us in Southern CA, this means there’s no risk of frost damage. This fern gets two feet tall and two feet wide. The leaves curve down as shown. They can be used as a ground cover. But, they are not for full sun. A bit of sun or filtered light is preferred.
