This attractive tropical Alocasia has near black stems and veins. Leaves are green. Mature plants are four to five feet tall and want bright conditions. They should get at least a few hours of sun or very bright filtered light conditions. This is felt to be a variant of A. macrorhriza. It has upright leaves. It can be grown in zone 9B and warmer.
