HOUSE PLANT OR PUT IN THE GARDEN
EASY TO GROW WITH LONG-LASTING BLOSSOM
This Bromeliad is a favorite of many. It has silver-green leaves. When mature, it produces an upright long-lasting pink blossom that is quite beautiful. The blossom will last for a month or two. Once it goes into decline, new suckers appear at the base of the plant and the following year you’ll have several more plants that will repeat the cycle. It can be grown in a bright location in the house. Or used in the garden where it prefers just a bit of sun with bright filtered light. Mature height averages about 2 feet. Cold hardiness is about 27 degrees. If a freeze comes, try not to have water in the cup of the plant. The plant on speciasl is in a 5 gallon pot.
