POPULAR HOUSE PLANT – EASY TO GROW
This is another popular interior plant that is native to the Americas. They are known for distinctive leaves and often contrasting colors. Leaves are sometimes deep purple on the underside. During the night, leaves may naturally curl up and then un-curl when it is bright. Leaves are thick and interesting. They like low to medium light and adequate water. We’re putting some 3 gallon on sale below. Note that there are many species, hybrids and cultivars in this genus. Also, availability of each is variable – some go out of stock and other different ones become available. Those shown below may be on a special order basis as we infrequently carry this genus. Also, be aware that many do not do well in the garden because of cold intolerance issues. More often they are grown as houseplants.
