TAKES FULL COASTAL SUN
There are both single trunk and suckering forms of this species. Nowadays, most of the plants available of this species are the suckering form. Both get to a height of 25 feet, have an attractive green trunk and a light colored crown shaft. Leaves have a graceful arch and the leaflet color is green. It’s a great alternative for the garden. Note how the trunks are beefy but not overly large. Along our coast it will take part day sun but I’d recommend filtered or morning sun inland. The plants on special are in one gallon pots and 3 years old. We do larger sizes available. I cannot tell you whether the plants we have (from seed) are the single or suckering type.
