A SHORTER & PRITTIER ALTERNATIVE TO THE QUEEN PALM
I have only two of these extremely rare hybrids of Syagrus picrophylla. The seeds were produced by the same hybridizer that created the Coconut Queen Palm. I do not know what they are hybridized with and probably can’t find out. The hybridizer is in his mid eighties and a bit forgetful. Plants are in 25 gallon containers, have been outdoor grown in sun. They should prove to be a very interesting hybrid palm and, I think, prttier in appearance than the common Queen Palm. They are quite tall for their pots and too tall for typical shipping or mail order – but can be delivered. The last photo is of the pure Syagrus picrophylla by G.M from PACSOA. We only have one or two remaining. They are presently about 14 feet tall in their pots.
