GETS ABOUT 2 FEET TALL
TOLERATES COASTAL SUN
The leather fern is a very useful sun because it’ll take full coastal sun and it doesn’t get overly large. It normally is about 18 inches tall although there are forms which can get over 2 feet tall. Leaves are green. They are easy to care for. Cold tolerance is about 25 degrees F. Although most ferns like water, this variety can be watered a bit less. They are very durable and easy to grow. If planted densely, it becomes a ground cover.
