Native to Mexico, this medium sized fan palm gets to a height typically of twenty to twenty-five feet, has a rather narrow trunk for a Brahea and a smaller crown of green fan shaped leaves. It is a medium rate growing palm that tolerates full sun. Exact cold tolerance is not known but felt to be into the low 20’s F. It could be lower but is not documented. The five gallon plants on sale are at least 5 years old and very nice. These are easy to mail order.
