This super attractive filtered light Bromeliad is native to Brazil and is known for having dark colored irregular bands across the leaves. A mature plant is about 3 feet tall with wide leaves. It is not for direct full sun. They like their cups to be replenished with water every week or two. These typically blossom yearly and put out sucker from their bases.
