This rare dwarf species of South African cycad is quite petite and never gets over four feet tall. Leaves are gray-green to sea foam green and about three feet long. A mature caudex is six to eight inches. This species likes coastal sun (it can tolerate part day sun) and is cold hardy to the low 20’s F. This is a rare and sought out species and never inexpensive. We are putting a 15 gallon plant on special. The plant shown has a caudex of 4.5 inches. It’s taken us about 8 to 10 years from germination to get this size plant. We do have an assortment of other sizes available. If this plant sells, we probably have others available of similar sjze and with the same great discount.
