You don’t see this species offered that often. It is native to the Sonora and Sinaloa areas of Mexico. It has green costo-palmate leaves that are divided. Trunk diameter is a pleasant 12 inches with a rough surface. Mature height is ten to twenty feet. Regarding culture, it is not quite as cold hardy as other Brahea species like armata, clara and decumbens. I’d suspect it may go down to the lower 20’s or perhaps upper teens F. It does best in full sun. We just got in a limited number of nice 5g plants which we’re putting on special. They are easy to ship.
