This species of Royal Palm is different from the Cuban Royal not only because it’s from the Southern Hemisphere but also because the crown of leaves are usually above the midpoint of the crown with few if any leaves hanging downwards. It is quick growing, likes full sun and is cold hardy into the 20’s F. It’s also very hard to find. We only have seedlings presently.
