This suckering fan palm is native to the southeastern Gulf States of the U.S. and some adjacent island areas. It gets to a mature height of six to eight feet. It loves sun and heat. Leaf color varies from a white/blue to green or somewhere in-between. I’m showing habitat photos of both colors below. The plants on sale are going to be more of the blue color. It forms a clump over time. Cold hardiness is into the upper teens F.
