This recenty described species from eastern Oaxaca, Mexico is known for the large number of leaflets on each leaf and for its long bare rachis. It us related to Ceratozamia robusta. It is a good sized green cycad that wants filtered light and has good cold tolerance into the low 20’s F. New leaves emerge a brown color. The specimen on sale here is in a 25 gallon pot and has a caudex that is 13 x 18 inches long. It is 25 years old. We’d been growing this plant for two decades before we could formally identify it.
