This species of hybrid Alocasia is a cross between A. portora and A. purple cloak. It makes a good sized plant, eventually up to six or eight feet. Leaves are upright pointing, green in color with dark veins. Stems are dark red or purple. It is fairly cold hardy to below a freeze and has been reported to live in Zone 8. It’ll take some sun. Strong filtered light is preferred. Note: the five gallon size is shown in the first photo followed by two pictures of a 15 gallon plant.
