This species of Pritchardia never gets overly large. The mature specimen shown in the last row of photos is growing in San Diego and in many years has just reached the roof of a single family home. I’d estimate you’ll get a mature height of ten to fifteen feet in two decades. Trunk diameter is about eight inches. Native to the Island of Kauai in HI, this species is quite rare and grows at high elevation in locality. It tolerates full sun here if you are not too far inland. Cold tolerance is about 26 to 27 degrees. We presently have a limited number of 15 gallon. We also have smaller sizes available. The 8th photo is c/o KM.
