LOVES SUN AND HEAT – EXTREMELY COLD TOLERANT!
SHOWING THREE DIFFERENT 25 GALLON PLANTS BELOW
For about a decade we’ve been offering this very desirable and sought after variety of Butia capitata that has a nice blue color. Otherwise, it’s quite similar to the regular gray-green Pindo Palm. Some of the “blue” Pindos are super blue. Others are a more muted blue color. It’s quite variable. The problem is we always run out of them. To satisfy our customer demand, we are presently offering a handful of this palm in 25 gallon pots. But, there are very limited numbers. We are putting this size on special. This palm loves full hot sun and can take down to 15 degrees F. So, almost all of you can grow this palm. I am showing photos below of the one gallon we’re putting on special. Seeds came from blue parents. The two photos below in the last row of photos were taken in the U.S. The last photo is an older 15 gallon plant. The next to last photo is by friend Paul Craft from FL. These palms in one gallon are easy to mail order but limited numbers available.
