OVERHEAD PURPLE-GREEN LEAVES
BEAUTIFUL HUGE DISPLAY OF PURPLE-WHITE FLOWERS
This Lily is native to all sorts of locations throughout the world including southern Asia, Australia, and Africa. It is known for it’s spiraling display of long, heavy substance leaves that are upright and four to six feet long. Their color is green and dark purple. Flowers are white with purple centers and markings. It grows like other Lilies by making offset tubers that make new plants. Expect a mature height of six to seven feet, definitely overhead. As mentioned, they clump and form a great display of foliage. They will not “run” or take over an area. In recent times these have been near impossible to find. But, we have a limited number of 5 gallon that we’re putting on sale. See first six photos below. I’m also showing larger nursery plants (now sold out) and a blossom.
