SHOULD BE A MEDIUM SIZED BLUE LEAF MATURE CYCAD
Both parents of this hybrid are South African cycad species. E.lehmannii is always super blue. E. longifolius is a blue to green species that gets larger than E. lehmannii. We predict that this will be a blue cycad mature and is already showing blue at this stage. Leaves are minimally armed. Leaf length should be four to five feet and mature it’ll probably will develop three to five feet of trunk in several decades. It will want full sun except in the desert and should be cold hardy down to about 22 degrees F. This batchof these hybrids are presently in one gallon pots and have approximately caudexes 1.5 inches. All are holding about five or maybe six leaves. They can be easily shipped. The first garden photo is the longifolius follow by two photos of E. lehmannii.
